Over 500 passengers and crew members were evacuated from a cruise ship in Puerto Rico last month after it caught fire. Although no one reported life-threatening injuries or fatalities, many required medical attention.
United States Coast Guard boats brought passengers and crew members into the San Juan harbor just as the fires continued to ravage the ship. Helicopters of the Coast Guard served as backup in case anyone needed to be airlifted.
The Coast Guard said all the passengers and crew members of the cruise ship were safely evacuated.
